As China enters the 15th Five-Year plan, national strategies are supporting a transition towards intelligent manufacturing, environmentally-friendly initiatives, and the integration of the supply chain within the aftermarket. China continues a 17-year streak by ranking first globally in the production and sale of vehicles, both exceeding records of 34 million units in 2025. It represents growth of 10.4% and 9.4%, respectively. The rising car ownership combined with an increasing demand for maintenance and repair services are stimulating new consumer trends and market expansion of the aftermarket and customising sector.
Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou (AAG) is a leading automotive trade fair in South China and is well-integrated in the Pearl River Delta automotive manufacturing hub. Located in the industrial backbone of the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA), the provincial capital of Guangdong offers a number of advantages. Guangzhou is widely considered an intersection, where national strategic objectives and industry integration initiatives come together, an important constituent for the up-and-coming powerhouse of South China’s automotive supply chain, in terms of R&D, intelligent manufacturing and trade. The region offers access to world-class shipping ports, financial and trade networks, as well as new trading routes linking Guangzhou with Hainan’s Free Trade Port. This positioning creates a gateway beyond China to Southeast Asia and Belt and Road countries, while serving as a springboard for international companies to enter China market.
