AAG 2024 concludes with a record-breaking visitor participation, a 36 percent increase from previous year

The three-day Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou (AAG) 2024 came to a successful close on 30 August at the Poly World Trade Expo Center (PWTC Expo) in Guangzhou. The exhibition showcased a wide range of cutting-edge technologies, products and solutions across six halls, covering core areas of the aftermarket supply chain such as parts and components, oil, lubricants and fuel, accessories, customising and driving services, tyres and wheels, and diagnostics and repair. With wide attention and participation from the global automotive industry, AAG 2024 achieved strong results as an event for innovation, information exchange, and cooperation.

AAG 2024 attracted an influx of visitors

· 42,622 visitors (36 percent increase from last edition) from 80 countries and regions
Top ten countries and regions include Malaysia, Vietnam, Yemen, Japan, Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt, Thailand, Iraq and Iran (in descending order)

· Scale: over 70,000 sqm of exhibition space

This year’s AAG saw a significant surge of exhibitors’ number, featuring both renowned companies and emerging players who presented the latest products and technologies in the automotive aftermarket. The exhibition also attracted a record number of visitors, with professional buyers, industry experts, and media representatives from around the world gathering to explore developments in the industry, as well as regional opportunities in South China. The outcome highlighted AAG’s growing influence and ability to capture momentum in the market.


AAG’s wide range of product sectors and efficient hall layout effectively offered opportunities for buyers and suppliers to interact and exchange market information. Halls 1, 3, 5, and 6 were the hotspots at the show with Parts & Components presenting advanced driving system technologies, innovative breakthroughs in chassis technology, and high-precision manufacturing processes for standard parts. Additionally, Halls 2 and 4 featured Accessories & Customising and Driving Services, bringing together renowned brands to demonstrate automotive lifestyle and vehicle modification.


Furthermore, the fair introduced special zones for Wear Parts zone (Hall 3) and Commercial Vehicles zone (Hall 5), providing an effective communication platform for industry players. These dedicated zones displayed the latest products and technologies for frequently wear components such as engine parts and brake pads, offering one-stop services including engine parts, specialised repair kits, and customised solutions, promoting the prosperity of the commercial vehicle aftermarket.


Moreover, 30 concurrent events delved into the latest topics, covering intelligent connectivity, commercial vehicles, and overseas market expansion. These discussions aimed to unveil the upgrades in the traditional automotive supply chain along with the latest developments catered to the next generation automotive industry. As such, the show provided a comprehensive platform for attendees to discover industry solutions and facilitated communication and cooperation.


Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou (AAG) is jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and China National Machinery Industry International Co Ltd. The next edition of the show is set to be held from 27 to 29 August 2025.
